I am a 35 year rc helicopter pilot. After receiving my model I was impressed with packaging and most of all the quality of the model.
While waiting for a new batch to arive at flish rc the team kept in constant contact with me. There response time to questions was EXCEPTIONAL. Any questions I had was responded to promptly. The shipping was also great considering it came from China.
I can't wait to order my next model probably the coast guard a109.
I will also say the mechanics are beautiful. I have flown and owned some flywing models, although less expensive the circuit boards are low quality. Spend the extra money on a flish. I fly mostly SAB helis (Genesis sport, Maverick sport, etc) I am an accomplished pilot, go for a flish if your a beginner or a pro.

Don't let the lower price on this fuselage fool you ..... it is a great 500 size Huey. Nothing fancy on it with details. Be aware the doors do not open, windows for side doors not included (for ventilation, but top/bottom and windshield are included), and you need to source your own decals (available on eBay for the AH-1 or UH-60). I made a battery shelf extention from hobby plywood that brought the stock battery forward by about 50mm, to make the CG perfect - a slightly bigger battery would work too instead of the extension. I will add some nav lights, but it looks great as-is. The software for tuning the L7 controller was fairly easy to understand after watching the FlishRC videos and other users. Don't forget to perform a compass calibration ..... makes a big difference on the first flight. I highly recommend this as a first FlishRC heli since it is lower cost than some of the other more popular fuselages. You will likely own more than one of these from FlishRC anyway 🙂 .

Here's a short video that you can actually control the Airwolf while it's automatically doing the Return To Home to avoid hitting trees or other obstacles. That's a pretty cool feature! It was kind of hard to record with the phone while flying. And once again, FlishRC's customer service is awesome!

I purchased this Airwolf from FlishRC and it flies amazing and fun to fly. The shipping was actually super quick coming from China and the customer service is awesome. If you have any troubleshooting questions, FlishRC will reply very quickly during business hours. This was my maiden flight and I was so nervous to land on the pallets so I just landed on the concrete instead. Will buy the FlishRC Cobra next! Also I couldn’t upload a video because it kept saying my video display was too big for some reason. Maybe it’s because I used the Meta AI glasses to record.

Fast delivery to canada and as expected, great product! I’m very happy with my purchase although i haven’t tried flying it but i’m sure the l7 will work fine. The only thing flishrc missed on this helicopter is the doors handle…i mean how do you expect to open the magnetic doors once the windows are installed? This is something flishrc should enhance… although it’s a very minor thing, you would expect paying that price for an rc helicopter that these scale details are taken into consideration 😉
